We design sustainable vacation homes that make the most of natural light. We believe that good design should take advantage of the unique characteristics of each site, and we use passive solar principles to do just that. By orienting the home to take advantage of the sun’s path, we can minimize the need for artificial lighting and maximize the potential for solar gain.
EXPERIENCE
At the heart of each project is an understanding of what's important in a sustainable house design to you. We take the time to learn about the nuances that make your property special, such as important views and land features. We work to make sure those features are celebrated in the design. It's also important to us that we understand how you live in your sustainable vacation home. We look at things like where you spend most of your time both indoors and outdoors and how you entertain guests before settling on a design. By taking all these factors into account, we create eco-friendly cottages that perfectly reflect your unique style and provide years of enjoyment.

So, we make sure that our designs take advantage of natural resources like sunlight and wind to minimize the need for artificial lighting and heating. We also source our products from sustainable and renewable resources whenever possible. And we’re always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact. We know that creating a sustainable future is a journey, and we’re committed to taking small steps every day to make a big difference.

From there, we move into programming, which is all about understanding the spaces required to meet your lifestyle needs. At the same time, we analyze the site for important views, natural features, slope, and privacy. Once we have that information, we can start the design process.
