Garage with a View

The Garage with a View is inspired by a clients love of Muskoka. The client travels a lot on business and the one place he wants to be winter and summer is Muskoka. The site is a difficult one and it is almost impossible to get to the cottage in the winter. To solve this problem we worked with the client to situate a garage with second floor living space a the top of the hill. Situating it at the top of the hill allows the client to still enjoy Muskoka in the winter but avoid the meandering road down to the cottage. This will also allow for overflow for the cottage and give guests their own private space in the summer.
