Pratts Point Boathouse

This boathouse was designed for a client that lives on the lake year around and spend every night from May to September at the dock. The boathouse completely open up through having two 14' wall openings on the front and back in addition to openings on the boat slips. Natural light also enters the building through the cupola located in the center of the roof. The truss roof was engineered to carry two boats over the one slip thus minimizing the need for beams in that area of the boathouse.
